Promoting optimal health and well-being in the region

The inaugural conference on “Lifestyle Medicine in Latin America and the Caribbean” aims to bring together leaders from Latin American and Caribbean countries to address the prevention of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and promote optimal health and well-being in the region.

  • The conference emphasizes the importance of early-stage disease management, risk factors, and disease prevention, rather than focusing solely on diagnosis and treatment.

  • Attendees will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, strategies, and effective digital guidance methods for engaging the population in NCD prevention and promoting regular screenings.

  • The conference also provides a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration to tackle common challenges such as poverty and malnutrition.

  • Additionally, the event fosters networking and social interactions, transcending geographical borders and encompassing both Latin America and the Caribbean.

  • Simultaneous translation to Spanish is available

The conference serves as a summit, uniting leaders across disciplines and regions to collectively address the pressing issue of NCD prevention in Latin America and the Caribbean.
